Predictions: The Mandalorian Season 2 

 So after the finale was streamed in the UK on Friday, speculation has run rampant on what exactly will take place in the second season of the show and obviously when it will be released due to the current pandemic. Today, I am going to give my predictions for season 2 which will probably be completley wrong, there will obviously be spoilers for the first season of The Mandalorian but also some other elements of Star Wars. 

The Mandalorian & Baby Yoda will meet Ashoka Tano & Sabine Wren 

I am starting with a more easy one to predict, at the end of the first season we see Mando & Baby Yoda go on a journey to track down The Jedi who can look after Baby Yoda and teach him the way of the force. With Ashoka being confirmed to be a part of the 2nd season, I believe she will aid our heroes in an attempt to track down The Jedi for her own reasons and that will do with Sabine's story as shown in the finale of Star Wars Rebels. 

Moff Gideon and Sabine will clash over the Darksaber

Sabine hasn't benn confirmed for The Mandalorian but after the finale and the Ashoka news I am really confident that she will be here. With Moff Gideon in possession of the Darksaber it puts him in the crosshairs of Sabine. Seen in Rebels Sabine has a history with the weapon and her ties to Mandalore will make for an interesting battle between the two characters possibly leading to her demise. 

We will learn more about Mando's history 

One of the best parts of the first season is the interesting backstory of Mando and how we are given some suprises and how it is spread over the season. I think Mando's history will be linked to Gideon and will further explain his moral code. 

The Bounty Hunters Guild will help Mando in his fight against The Empire

We have seen the really interesting development of a Bounty Hunters Guild and I think the reason for this is that it will lead to them helping Mando against Gideon and the imperials. With Carl Lewis and Gina Carano's characters in the guild and allies of Mando they will help him plus without The Empire it will lead them to go back to their business. 

Moff Gideon is attempting to give himself The Force

We see in the finale that Gideon says The Child is more important to him then anything, combined with the cape, look and Darksaber it is easy to believe Gideon wants you use the Child to attempt to give him access to the force. I hope we gets flashbacks and more more time with the character as Giancarlo Esposito is a truly brilliant actor and I feel like we only scratched the surface with this character. 

The Child will give Ashoka a lead on the location of Ezra Bridger

We see in the finale of Rebels, Ezra Bridger and Thrawn are sent to another dimension. Ashoka and Sabine agree to track him down. I believe Ashoka is in this season to set up a spinoff show for her attempting to find Ezra and she will recieve hep from Baby Yoda to gain a lead to set her up on that journey.

Overall, this show does a great job in setting up future seasons and I think the inclusion of Ashoka allows the show to go many different directions and provide an even better 2nd season.
