Ahsoka Tano Spinoff Show Announced by Disney Plus

So this will be the first of many posts about the news that broke from last night at the Disney Investors meeting and the first is one yours truly predicted last week that there is going to be an Ahsoka Tano spinoff show starring Rosario Dawson. Here are some of my extra thoughts on this subject and what things I think can come out of it. 

When will they cast Ezra, Sabine & Thrawn?

It is pretty clear after her appearance on The Mandalorian that Ahsoka is looking for Grand Admiral Thrawn and Ezra Bridger, if you have seen The Rebels finale you know that the Mandalorian Sabine Wren is going to help her on her journey. My question is when are these roles are going to be cast and will they be limited to this show or will we see these characters appear in more of the Star Wars TV universe. 

Will Temuera Morrison return as Captain Rex?

Now Morrison is very busy with his stint as Boba Fett on The Mandalorian and in his own show so maybe this is wishful thinking but could he return as Captain Rex. Rex is one of Ahsoka's closest allies and has a connection with Ezra Bridger so hopefully if Morrison is available he can join the cast and help Ahsoka here. 

Will Ahsoka become a Jedi again? 

Ahsoka is a force wielder, even though she no longer recognises herself as Jedi but could that change on this show. It is very clear that there are very few Jedi around in the timeline of the show so could something happen that convinces Ahsoka to take up the mantle and become a fully fledged Jedi again. 

Could Hayden Christensen return?

There was some big news about Hayden Christensen last night which I will get into during a new post but could he make an appearance here. It seemed pretty clear during her episode of The Mandalorian that Ahsoka was not aware of Anakin's return to the light side, I feel like this is something that needs to be rectified. Could Christensen return as Anakin's Force Ghost and come to Ahsoka and tell her the truth, if that happened I think fans around the world would lose their mind and it would be a moment long remembered. 

Could Ahsoka eventually go to find Luke Skywalker?

So I think the first season of the show will see Ahsoka trying to find Ezra and Thrawn but eventually she will need to do something different and I think if what I suggested above happens then Anakin could tell Ahsoka about Luke which could lead Ahsoka to trying to find Luke and help him rebuild The Jedi Order.

Will have a crossover with Rangers Of The New Republic & maybe The Mandalorian  

It was also announced that Ahsoka will have a big crossover with the other new show Rangers Of The New Republic, that is pretty exciting and could lead to big things for both shows. But it is also exciting to see that both shows happen in the same timeline as The Mandalorian so could we see a huge crossover with all three shows. 

Overall

Overall, I loved Ahoska's episode of The Mandalorian and this announcement was inevitable but it still has me super hyped and I can't wait till Ahsoka comes to Disney+
